Tamarack Media Group LLC (“TMG,” “we,” “our”) operates tamarackmediagroup.com and provides website design, local SEO, booking automation, branding, and related services to local service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a website audit request, contact form, quote request, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide directly, including your name, business name, business type, city, phone number, email address, current website URL, and any message or selections you make.

Billing information. If you become a paying client, billing details such as your card number and billing address are collected and processed by our payment processor. TMG does not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Communications and recordings. We retain records of emails, text messages, calls, and other communications between you and TMG. We may record calls, video meetings, screen shares, and written chat with clients and prospective clients, for delivering work accurately, keeping records, training, and resolving disputes. Where a meeting platform displays its own recording notice, staying in the meeting after that notice appears is your consent to be recorded.

Automatically collected information. When you visit the site, we automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and interaction events. This is collected through server logs, analytics tools, and tracking pixels described below.

Cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our site, including:

Meta (Facebook) Pixel for ad measurement and audience building

Artificial intelligence and automated tools

We use artificial intelligence and other automated tools to help run our business and deliver our services. That includes drafting and editing content, analyzing websites and campaign data, summarizing calls and correspondence, preparing reports and recommendations, powering the chat assistant on this site, and performing internal administrative, security, and quality checks.

Information you give us may be processed by these tools, and by the providers that operate them, under contract and for the purpose of running our business and delivering our services. We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.

Email and SMS marketing

If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails and text messages about our services, promotions, and updates.

Email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by replying with “unsubscribe.”

SMS/Text messages. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive marketing text messages from TMG at the number provided, including messages sent by automated dialing systems. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. While TMG does not sell personal information for money, our use of advertising and analytics pixels may qualify as “sharing” under California law. To opt out of this sharing, email us at hello@tamarackmediagroup.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” We will honor your request within 15 business days.

To exercise any other rights, email hello@tamarackmediagroup.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, plus a reasonable additional period for legal, tax, accounting, and operational reasons. Marketing contact data is retained until you opt out or request deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing the address below.

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls on backend systems, and reputable third-party providers for storage and processing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site and emails may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing any information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email.
